Plant constructor Oschatz expands

Two new members of the “Oschatz family” see to an exciting summer for the Oschatz Group: The new subsidiary Oschatz UK was founded to strategically develop the UK market for the Essen-based plant constructor. Furthermore, a new city office in Istanbul will provide ever more closeness to clients and contractors.

The “Oschatz family” has once again expanded: the latest member since 1 July 2011 is subsidiary Oschatz UK Ltd.. Based in Warwick, near Birmingham, the company was set up to strategically develop the UK market and help further establish Oschatz in the United Kingdom.

To begin with, the new Oschatz subsidiary will only operate the divisions Chemical and Power Plant Technology. However, in the long run, all four product divisions will be covered and handled. Oschatz UK is a member of the Renewable Energy Association (REA), which has been promoting the use of renewable energy for the past ten years in Great Britain. The Managing Director and main contact of the new subsidiary is Mr Wolfgang Dieter.

With the relocation of the Turkish production site into the Kocaeli Free Zone this June came the decision to establish the first “offshoot” of Oschatz Turkey: an additional central city office. The new office is located in the district of Ataşehir on the Asian side of Istanbul, close to the first bridge over the Bosporus. Altogether nine employees work there in the departments of Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Purchasing and Logistics since mid-July.
The decision in favour of the new office was made in order to ensure more closeness to clients and contractors and to facilitate the import of goods into the Free Zone.
