Stahl Judenburg commissions second bright steel center

Stahl Judenburg, based in Judenburg, Austria, has successfully commissioned a BC-50 bright steel center supplied by SMS Meer, Germany. The PM-series peeling machine produces bright steel within the 14 to 54 millimeters diameter range. Combined with a WRP straightening and polishing machine the SMS Meer plant meets strict straightness and surface quality requirements.

Stahl Judenburg uses the bright steel center to produce bars for the motor and plant engineering sectors of the automotive industry. This is the second SMS Meer plant of its kind operated by the company.
