The article considers some innovation teaching methods of the professional foreign languages applied in the practical educational process for the third and forth-year students of the Natural Resource Institute. In particular, the international project “Approaching to Arctic” is described in details. These methods have the remarkable advantages, such as: increasing of the students’ motivation to learn the foreign languages; focus on the real practical result, significant for each participant of the project; widening of educational horizons; as well as development of the professional communicative skills.
