The author, a well-known specialist in the field of metal forming, described his childhood, youth and further life in science and teaching, as well as his mentors and friends. All of them were lucky eyewitnesses and participants of brilliant and cardinal events in the USSR and Russia since mid-XX century till present time. Each of them made their essential input in the development of public and political life in our country, in creation of the new equipment and technologies, in personnel education. Karabasov, B.S. Mitin, S.K. Kantenic, A.V. Kovshov, E.O. Tsaturyan as rectors of high schools; A.B. Chelyustkin, Yu.F. Shevakin, A.V. Krupin, V.P. Polukhin, A.I. Tselikov, K.V. Frolov as outstanding scientists; G.G. Grigoryan, T.G. Shumnaya as museum directors etc. These people and many other their high-talented colleagues influenced seriously and continue their influence today on the course of history and development of science, culture and technics.
